I find it amazing how any location can be transformed from changes in nature and perspective.  These two photos, both strong depictions of Chicago, Illinois can be applied to the nature of specific view.  Take the first photo, an aerial shot depicting the city of Chicago and Lake Michigan; this represents the initial perspective a person might take of a situation.  Indeed, a general idea is formed, but the beautiful nuances have not made themselves visible.  The second photo of the Sears/Willis tower at night contrasts the first photo; only two elements populate the scene.  Unique character is developed and something new is discovered and juxtaposed that would never have become apparent without changes in light, space, and perspective.

The Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada connects the city of Vancouver with the district of North Vancouver.  Cars flow in and out, traffic lights switch on and off, light- a yoyo commanded by the whims of commuters.
